Re: Feature Request Rotate Edges in both directions

Right now, the rotate edge feature, although already really convenient, only allows for rotating edges to the left. This sometimes makes it difficult if one is working with symmetry, where it would be very convenient to be able to rotate in both directions to achieve the same effect. Theoritically ...

Re: [Feature request] - GLUT teapot

I think that having the suzanne mesh is a wonderful to learn blender. It's a ready model to experiment modelling tools during learning... But I'd like to have the GLUT teapot! First, it not a GLUT teapot, but an UTAH teapot nicknamed the teapotheadron http://sjbaker.org/teapot/ The GLUT version of ...

Also the render times shouldn't increase for objects that are extrenely large Not true. Here is a simple test I made, the first image took ten seconds to render with a moderately scaled ground plane: a little trick for speeding up rendertimes. make 2 planes. the first is your normal one. The second...

In an attempt to keep track of all the feature requests there is now a list on blender3d.org http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Feature_Requests.480.0.html Before posting a request you can check if a simular request exists. If so, add to that threat/wiki. Or if not, post a new threat. For now it's a list...

Re: OSX sequence plugins

after some "tweaking" of make-related files i finally managed to compile the existing sequence plugins for OSX. most of the texture plugins failed with a "link error" but since most of them are already available for OSX, this doesn't hurt anyone ;) marin in bmake file, the LDFLAGS for darwin must p...

i think the idea with multiple meshes as blendshapes is kind of a step back. I don't agree that the multiple objects is a step back. It's a very visual solution for data that is there anyway. .... I think the ui should be done in 3d not in a IPO window with add this and add that buttons. It should ...

Do the names of the RVks take their names from the objects used to create the blends? Also, does it determine relative keys as opposed to absolute by comparing the overall vertex positions of each mesh (i.e. only moved vertices are counted)? I left the RVK spot basically open in my proposal because...

Re: Relative vertex key enhancements.

Proposed relative vertex key enhancements that is. ... What you think? Anyone rushing to implement this? Seems simple and efficient. not too far from what i was thinking. Only critic, imo the panel should not be floating but in button window. I think some programs (Maya does it ?) allow negative va...

reality check : default scale values are from 0.001 to 1000. A huge picture is 10000x10000. i Fail to see why you would need more. in ortho mode, you can already feed in a single pixel 100 blender units. Perspective is even more. that allow quite a number of details. And the argument 1 unit == 1 mm ...
