i think what you mean is: 1) make a spring object (easy with screw) 2) place the object centre at the top-center of the spring 3) scale along the vertical axis i tried that at first but isn't accurate, because what you really get is that the "tube" (don't know the right term) of the spring gets thin...

hi, i just created a spiral stair as a separate blend file, but, after appending it into my room and saving the file, and reopening it the stair always returns at it's original position :shock: . even just pressing F12 to render the stair moved in a new position makes it restore its original positio...
