Thanks stev for the information. The reason for my question is that I am working on porting blender on pocketpc... pocketpc doesn't have opengl but opengl ES (a subset of opengl). But when I looked to the delta, lot of missing functions are only in this BGL.h. With what you said, I don't need to imp...

Question on BGL.h

Hallo, Lot of openGL function are only "mentionned" in BGL.h. As I understand, it is an OpenGL wrapper for Python. Do I really need the opengl function only mentionned in BGL.c to run Blender (no python script?). Or are all the functions in this wrapper also used to run Blender properly? Thanks a lo...

Hallo Mal, Thanks for your links... After having seen this quake III port, I toke the decision to work on a wrapper on top of opengl ES and not continue my work on Mesa. Why? Because the future is Opengl ES and hardware acceleration will only be available on openglES... And it will probably ask me t...

Hallo, I am working for a couple of mouth on such a port... I compile Blender after some fights but now, I am fighting with opengl. I am now working on implementing missing opengl functionnalities for pocketpc. As you probably already know, Opengl ES is only a subset of opengl... but Blender needs a...

Hallo Guys, The last news :=) I made Mesa work with GAPI (direct access to the hardware video) and the application to test Ghost (the monkey) work definitively quicker. I don’t think the performance will be enough to run Blender correctly but it is better as what I previously had! Yesterday, I tried...

Yes I do it... that's what I did... but opengl Es is a subset of opengl... lot of functions are missing... and I writte empty functions for all missing functions needed by Blender... but of course, it is not sufficient to have something good. Indispensible functions (maybe all) will have to be imple...

Hallo, I finished to compile Blender on pocketpc and I am now on the “debugging” phase. The two sensible thing are “opengl for pocketpc” and “pocketpc working in Unicode”. For the first point, I am using Klimt and added dummies function not supported. Some work will have to be done here. But Blender...

MOTO, source/kernel and BMfont...

Hallo, Reading all documentation around and de dependency graph here http://www.blender.org/cms/Blender_Architecture.336.0.html I thought that without game engine, I wouldn't have needed MOTO and files in source/kernel. But MOTO is needed by lot of intern library (opennl for example) and functions i...
