There was some talk of one guy, (some guy had a wiki page) but I am more for coding: I have seen many people come on the blender.org forums, create alot of interest and enthusiam ...and then disap...

Update

Hello, I have been rather slow in my development of the latest version of modblender however the changes that I have been making will give rise to alot of promise. Instead of hacking on the blender codebase I have been writing individual programs, writing blender API wrappers to allow it to be easil...

Re: Mmmmm

Is this going to be added to blender before Xmas 05? This is something that you would put under the "research and development" part of blender. That is that somebody (me) is developing something that hasn’t been done before that will probably not make it into the main tree for the reason that it wa...

Well, now that I have handed in and looking for a job I have had some time left over for debugging module-core.c, and in doing so have had to create some extra modules: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/simonharvey/Screenshot-Blender.jpg The reason why I gan give you this screenshot is because ...

Three cheers for kidb's mirrorring and download services! Indeed! Anyway, I thought that I should write this up just to prepare thoes who have a proper build system of what to expect. These points are in no order. 1. This has been written for my linux system (Fedora Core 1), it uses the blender def...

Can anybody spare ~12MB of server space on an HTTP server to upload the source files to?

It must have an HTTP interface (ie. web form). I am sorry if this asking for too much but I have tried FTP and SFTP but I am just getting no love with these.

I have just handed in!

The two WIKI pages look ok, and a release showing the basic functionality:
*module loading
*core API functionality

Shouldn't be far away

Hi All I thought that an update would be in order: I am almost in at the hand in stage with my Masters, with the last boring parts to do (tedious). I have been doing some loose coding every now and then on ModBlender: It can now dynamically load up a test BMX however it seems to crash when it gets t...

Blender's sound system in linux has always been a bit flakey, if you have compiled it from source you will have to enable in in the toplevel SConstruct file, other than that I dont know what to say to help you.
