Re: 3D display window issues

I'm using blender 2.37 - still getting used to Blender in general so maybe I'm doing something wrong but I've found that the textured shading option in the 3D window displays objects as the default grey even with a texture applied. Also the shaded display shows objects with textures only they are b...

Anyway, this is probably something that could/should be discussed with the BPy team, too. Agreed I am thinking that the only thing that the Bpy team need to know is how to create/access and release an interface, the actual interfaces themselves would be created by individual developers who would no...

Well I fired up NEdit again to have another crack as the code (as part of a break from my masters) and did some debugging. Now the code looks at the bmx directory for modules, it checks for the extensions ".so" for unix and ".dll" for windows. If after doing further checks it finds that it is valid ...

Re: Help finding the N Panel code? (CVS?)

Hi! Due to a case of extreme need and curiosity, I am now facing the terror of having to lurk around Blender's source code... I am not really interested in learning the functionality of the whole code as a WHOLE... (not YET atleast...) I'm rather interested in finding the code responsible of collec...

"If you can't manage this, just instert 'pad' variables in structures. ..... Do not use 'pad' variables in Blender!!!" Re: Water effect

Hi. I'd like to know how to create a water effect, with some kind of sunset. This would be a cut-scene not a still image. Hello and welcome to the blender community! This is the developers forum that has more to do with features and coding than art. The forum that you want can be found here: http:/...

Re: MS intentions for Open GL?

Does anyone have the skinny on how this would affect Blender 3? It could be possible to write wrappers for the OpenGL commands (although I would not like to do it). But what I seem to get from what I know about longhorn is that almost every Win32 API application is going to be broken in some way, s...

Hi Blender uses python (a programming language) to allow users to automate tasks etc... It appears that your computer does not have the python 2.3 installation installed on your machine, you can get it by going to python.org: http://python.org/ftp/python/2.3.5/Python-2.3.5.exe Kind Regards Simon Har...
