With that built and the one before getting troblöe to run, always getting error message: "Application couldn't be initialized (0x0000007b)".

Getting this since built 20051020, older builds work.

Using Win2K SP4. Blender 2.37a runs stable, no problems at all.

file operations

is there a way for:
- creating subfolder in export directory
- copy a image from their source directory to the export directory
- converting images (may from TGA to JPEG)?

Thanx, that is what i have read so far too. But i can't find any way for exporting surfaces. There is a curve module for Bezier and Nurbs Curves it seems there is nothing for Nurbs Surfaces.

Here is a small proposal for the Effect panel, it is far from nice but looks clearer then the actual one (is more uniform to familar thing too):
