Mhm, don't know if the modifier idea is really great: - how to use crease subsurf - how to modify the mesh in EditMode when you can't see the subsurf mesh - modifiers is in Object and other editing functions are at Editing - not really nice - mirror modifier is nice but not usable for charcter model...

Cutting more than one loop is fine but:
- when cuting 1 loop you can move them not so fine as before
- when cutting more then one you can't move them
- after cuting with knife multicut the new loops should be selected

...mhm, not a bad idea having merge menu on V! Can't see that V has a function in editmode (once it was direct change to vertex pint mode).
