I don't know if this is your problem but I give it a try: Imported "objects" often consist out of several parts which are different mesh objects (loose or grouped - that doesn't matter). This means that you can only edit single parts - one at a time (Check the difference between selected and active ...

Are you talking about the game engine? Add a material to the ground and change its physics attributes. And please check out the game engine forum at http://blenderartists.org/. There's a better place to ask questions related to how to do something.

Azrael: Nice that you quoted me, but what the heck does your rant (and that's all that it was) refer in any way to anything that I've written? And why do you think that all the bold blocks are any helpful? I mean, yes, I wear glasses but actually don't have any problems with a normal font size. I gu...

One tip: People here usually are glad to help - even if it is slightly or totally off-topic. But you should take the netiquette rules ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette ) into consideration if you want help. If you don't follow the forum customs and internet conventions, chances are that your...

Are you trying to be funny? Not only that you did post a question that wasn't related to the Blender development - not even related to Blender at all (means: totally wrong forum! Check the second sticky posting!) - you acted rudely by shouting, perhaps without knowing, and after being indicated to i...

I knew this would turn into a big deal, so let me explain it to you simply. Perhaps it wouldn't have happened if you used some "external" explanation like the following: http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote2.html#ss2.3 Sometimes also this should be applied: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1855 ...

Re: KEY BINDINGS PROBLEM!!!!
Quick guess: You've got the french keyboard layout activated. Change that in your (Windows) country settings.
And please: Don't use only CAPS in your subject. That's quite rude!

I don't think this is an issue due to the fact that a lot of software updates automatically without security being a problem, mainly the OS you are using right now. That point of view of yours is a little bit naive: a) Every time you (automatically) download, install and run software from the inter...

It's an issue of convinience, Of course. I understand that... it would be set it to do only "major" updates IE, blender.org point releases. ... but you should be aware that there are some issues on this: Security regarding the server side but also the client side - and something that shouldn't be u...

I can imagine on these forums several people complaining that this or that feature doesn't work anymore as expected (or having to reinstall an older version) because they didn't notice the update notification. I also can imagine a traffic increase on the servers of 2 GB a month without a real bargai...

Have you thought about creating several screens for different purposes or using Blender as it is supposed to be used? And why the heck do you want to use Blender if its interface is so bad? Wouldn't it be only natural to use 3D Studio Max instead if you like the way of working there? . o O (And why ...
