No news at all about this feature? Ben Omari wrote a python script that applies the image based motion blur to the selected object in postproduction using PIL; at the moment it calculates only the movements of objects and camera, not the rotation nor the deformations of meshes: http://xoomer.v...

Feature request: new option in wipe post effect

Could it be possible to add a new option to the wipe transiction effect in the sequencer, just an "use image" option? I mean: the transiction between two strips is made on the ground of a (not necessarily) black and white image that acts as a matte mask. AFAIK, at the moment this is not possible yet...

Hi Gabio and thanks for all these builds.
Rotating bones (in pose mode) on local axes doesn't work, not with the old sistem nor with the new amazing widget. Btw, it doesn't work since a couple of builds.

Thanks for the new build! :)
I don't know if it's a bug, but the "alphaover" in the sequencer behave strangely, seems it doesn't give "mid transparency" values but only totally opaque and/or totally transparent... it behaves normally in official 2.36.

Hi Ton. From a user point of view, halos and particles, in the very most of cases, don't need to have motion blur (besides objects dupliverted on particles, but it's a different case); maybe it's not "realistically" accurate, but they look good even not blurred, IMO (see, for example, the first part...

Aaaaaargh! All this is making me too salivating... harkyman, no doubt you know what you are talking about, for what I can understand you have a lot of good ideas about this. :) If you don't have time to pursue it, maybe you can do a single line of coding once a day... just one line at a time... we a...

Hi Bullx. :) Mm... probably a nice idea but this could work for a whole "rigid" object moving in space, i.e. a spaceship or a car, but what about a character, where the oscillation of the arms must have more blurring than the shoulder and so on? As harkyman said, the best way could be the evaluation...

Something like this would be a good start http://www.alamaison.fr/3d/lm_2DMV/lm_2DMV.htm Hey, that's what exactly what I saw times ago and I couldn't find it anymore! :) Thanks for the link, broken. Harkyman, I tried to post this also in the feature request at Blender3d.org, but I couldn't success....

Hi harkyman. Never tought of the vectorial motion datas as image datas (if I well understand), actually it could work great in combination with the lower level of frame-based blur (as you said). Also, I've heard somewhere that Ton is seriously thinking about to rewrite from scratch the renderer of B...

Image based motion blur

I wrote a short paper about the possibility to implement image based motion blur in Blender. I'm not a coder, so I collected different fonts to have a general idea of the feature and some proposal to make it work as a postprocess effect in the Blender Sequencer. Here's the link to the paper: http://...

I just want those eternal bugs fixed. Yeah, also the "onlyshadow" spot black ring bug, really annoying! EDITED: and what about the fact that after frame 9999 Blender write frame 10000, and this is correct, but if you are saving your tgas in a folder you wont have your frames in order... instead of ...
