new features:
- several bugfixes since 2.35
- i also added a new very cool transform tool from theeth. you can transform every mesh to a sphere. just use shift-ctrl-s in editmode.

openal: yes
international: no
dynamic: yes
gcc 3.3.4

cinema 4d doesn't really support ngons in r9. it just hide the edges between faces which normals are pointing in the same direction. this is exactly the same what blender does (edit / object mode).

this will also crash blender

- create a cube and add subsurf
- switch to object mode
- create a duplicate with ShiftD
- select the original again and switch off subsurf and switch it on again

if the subdiv level is 0 or 1 it works fine. to crash blender it has to be at least 2!!!

If I take a cube, make it subsurf, increase the resolution to 3 (so I have what looks like a sphere), and then crease one of the edges, the only crease I get is a portion of the midpoint of the creased edge. weighted creases are working great if you have selected one edge or one face. but if you have selected all vertices (AKEY) it doesn't work as good as in some other 3d apps. there're two kinds of weighting: - edge weigghting - vertice weighting the edge weighting works well but the vertice weighting ...
