for me as artist fotorealism isnt the holy grail of 3D. If i want that i can take a foto. For me ease of use and speed is more importante. wht ive seen in other 3d apps is that fotorealism comes at the prize of slowness. also most of the so called fotoreal renders are recognised in thefirst instance...
