Managed to get elbeem compiling now (with a little self patching). Now I come across an error in BPy - meshPrimitive.c line 99 error: structure has no member named 'new' /me comments that out. hope it doesn't hurt Some old 're' variables still in radiosity code. What to do with them? I'm out of my d...

Well I've now got it working, sort-of. The problem was just that I didn't actually have python in my path. The python being found belonged to an app with that came with a minimal python interpreter. Now it runs, but falls down on elbeem (fluid simulator) terminating due to an error while building in...

Scons error (not really blender related)

Hi, I'm currently trying to compile blender using scons and mingw on windows xp. I've got the latest version of scons (0.96.92), however, it refuses to compile, saying something about not finding some module. The error message is: No module named SCons.Script However, a folder with that name, contai...

There were also a few interesting features that Matt Ebb proposed in his original outliner concept. These were namely the ability to access and change the values of ipo curves in the outliner. Currently, it is just a means to display the hierachy of objects and some of their things in alphabetical o...

I see that in the code, the outliner at some stage had code that made it scrollable two-ways, but that code is commented out, and the current style in use is the single L_Scroll. Does someone know why this change was made? I'm guessing it might have something to do with the possibility that the code...

Thanks. So is making a space scrollable is as simple as passing combinations of these to it?

Surely they must be defined somewhere... so far I've only found cases of them being used in the src directory. They don't seem to be defined in the include directory...

Meaning of L_SCROLL and B_SCROLL

Hi,

What are the values of L_SCROLL and B_SCROLL? Where are they defined? Are there any other similar values around?

Please make an option to remove the portion with "www.blender.org 2.41" who is situated in the top of the interface, beacouse personally I have only an 1024x768 resolution and I cant view the portion with Memory Usage situated in the same topline toolbar. No offence but for me is more important to ...

I see that nobody has responded to this yet, so some questions: How is the vertical scrolling accomplished now? Does the outliner_height function have any part to play in this (I'm guessing it does, in which case something similar would need to be concocted for horizontal scrolling) What are the OL_...

Outliner needs horizontal scroll

Hi, Unless I'm totally missing something here, the outliner needs horizontal scrolling. Currently, it can only scroll vertically. No horizontal scrolling is ok, as long as your object names are short, you are not viewing stuff that is several layers deep (i.e. armature bones are one example), you ha...

Increase max length of path

Hi, I've just been reading the (Re: [Bf-blender-cvs] CVS commit: blender/source/blender/src header_info.c usiblender.c) discussion on Bf-comitters. This has brought up an issue I've found highly annoying - the maximum lengths of names and paths you can use in blender text-boxes. The path name textbo...

joetainment: are you the guy who was behind the K-3D NGUI? If so, I can see the reasons why you've proposed some of these changes. And having tried a recent version of K-3D, I can say that it is slower/less efficient to use. In fact, some of your proposed changes are what exist currently in K-3D. I ...

If I had found a way to get this to work, I would have been able to make a little script to help make shape keys for deformed meshes (simplistic workaround for crazyspace).
