iktarget snap back

for doing simpler leg setups i would find it extremely helpful if there were the option that iktargets can automatically snap back to the bone they are applied to if you move them too far. i have no clue about the ik code but to me it doesn't seem like this would be hard to add? :) just solve the ik...

i managed to get different posematrices now for each animation frame. i did a stupid mistake with passing around references instead of copies of the matrix. :P i would need these two matrices for my exporter: - a bone's world space bind pose matrix - a bone's world space animation frame matrix i thi...

if you have two monitors you can span the blender window across both monitors (might require some graphics driver settings). then you can split the blender spaces at the center. it works nicely for me! you should use the same resolution on both monitors though. i don't really understand your second ...

You can make your script a scriptlink and record the selecton state each time. could you give some hints how i would do this? i haven't used scriptlinks before... if i understand this correctly i can add a scriptlink to the object and a python script in a text gets executed on each redraw event the...

yes, this is normal! the console window has to stay open while blender runs. you get that message because you don't have a separate python installation but you won't need one if you don't run python scripts which depend on modules not included in blender. you seem to be in the wrong forum though! th...
