Request: transparency in viewport.

I think it would be a good idea to allow transparency in the viewport as an option for the material. This would help people creat things from reference images so they can see the background while modeling, and be able to tell how the faces ar oriented because of shading(can't happen in wireframe)

Request: target weld

I request a target weld feature similar to that in Max. The user would select one or more verticies, then the target weld option, then the target vertex. Pretty much all the first selected verticies would move to the same spot at the target vertex, and then they would all be welded. As far as I know...

Bug: When selecing yafray as the renderer, the yafray/gi button panel appers in the fith window over, instead of as tabs in the fourth, as happened in previous versions of blender.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. If you mean link to a render you made in blender, then change it to a .jpg file and upload it to an image host like http://www.imageshack.us

I would work for level editing if you found an exporter, but the tools that come with a game for editing generally work much better.

Just a bump now that development has started again, as the general feeling for this thread was that it would be a good idea, and not too much work.

Right-Click(Desktop)>Properties>Settings tab

Your graphics card should be in the middle.

Click the advanced botton. open the tab with the title of your card and it should say your driver version.

for nvidia cards it's 6.14.10.xxxx
xxxx is your driver version.

Yes, the whole idea of this request was for exporting to games and such to make low poly models look better. Preferably to work in the viewport and renders.
