The way I measure stuff is just move one vertice down to the other and look in the 3d window header how much I've moved. yeah, it`s a solution. but only if you`re moving vertex along one axis. what willa you do when you`ve got a plane and you want to check it`s diagonal`s length? And you don't need...

Yes, Blender is not CAD program. But, when trying to build models and to keep propotions right one little thing would do the trick. There would be great if there was shown distance between vertices. I`m not talking about EdgeLength because it shows only Length between 2 vertices on one edge. Take a ...

but Alt+left or right cursor doesn`t have any assigned action. so you don`t need new keyboard.
it would be great if I didn`t had to select Scene from the uper menu and could just toggle Scenes just like Screens with Ctrl. don`t you think it would be helpfull?

I think you'll find ctrl is used as 'do' and alt is used as 'undo'. So 'do' scene scenes should be ctrl. sorry, but I guess I didn`t understand what you are saying. I was talking about asigning Alt+left or right cursors to changing Scenes. it can`t be Ctrl, because it changes/toggles Screens. sorry...

change Scene shortcut

What do you think about change Scene shortcut? I think that Alt+left or right cursor would be good choice as Ctrl+left or right cursor changes Screens.

suggestions about new blender.org`s looks

generally it looks OK and mostly clear. but I think that search button should be higher, not almost on the bottom of the page. there should be also ling to user forums, as I mentioned in a different topic. and one more thing about the blender.org forums. don`t you think that "New posts" and "No new ...

OK, you`re right. There`s no point correcting older versions. But maybe you could add such information since the next release. Blender would check under which Blender version the blend file was saved and if the version is newer then the program, the info appears. It`s just a suggestion. If you think...

opening 2.37 blend files in older versions

when I open blend file saved in 2.37 in a older Blender version the file opens but after a short moment it crashes. I think that`a because of UI as in 2.37 I use Timeline which doesn`t exist in 2.36. And the problem may be resolved with unmarking the Load UI button in the Open File window, but... Th...

When I load a wave file to Sound Block Buttons I can listen the file, but when I add it to Sequence Editor and play with Alt+A blender freezes. Everytime. I think that when I was using it about a year ago it all was OK. Did something changed. Or maybe the problem is my Sound System. Which one should...
