The PS3 uses in line operation. I doubt it would be of any use for a render node..

Very unstable, crashes constantly. I get:The instruction at "0x77f82e87" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be read. Happens in edit mode (I think). Can't replicate the error constantly (not to my knowledge at least). I have to comment on my crashes. I just reverted back to Nvi...

I'd try with .obj instead.

While we're at it why not a user grid ? It's a grid you can rotate and the axis go along with it.

1024*768 is small yeah but remember that you can just use 1 viewport and switch from orthogonal views and perspective view with the numpad and still have work done.

Not like XSI in which you should be using at least 1600*1200 to get any profitable experience.

I've already said it and I say it again: there is no use to have the modes text shown; icons are there to do that. It's just taking too much space for nothing.

I don't think so, it MUST be Gecko. Because XSI is on Linux too..

It could be useful, but don't even think it would be a top priority.

I gotta agree too that blender is lacking in the realtime preview and shader department. I'm not a user of XSI, but it has some really awesome viewport preview features. Also the render tree is really something we should base the new node based shader system on. If it could also be used to export op...

Welcome to the extremely small group of users who actually put blender to professional use. I can't wait for it to grow, it's such a fine tool after all. I do it and I'm proud of it. I don't know if I'll be allowed to work with it if I am hired at Ubisoft this week (interview thursday), but I'll tr...

Another bug... Vertex and texture coloring is at fault. When ever I paint my mesh in CVS, the faces seem inverted inward, yet when I paint the mesh in 2.36, everything works fine on the same mesh. This makes it difficult for me to paint. The same thing happens when I want to texture paint. Screensh...

Sorry to be an ass and hijack the discussion, but maybe for once it'll be heard.

Could you please add the Two Sided surface drawing mode of UV Face Select Mode to Edit Mode, and properly rename the Double Sided surface type to Backface Lighthing.

I'm sure it's not hard to do, please add this.
