[Feature request] - GLUT teapot

It seems stupid but I'd like to have the original GLUT teapot in the Add->Mesh menu.
 Why not?

I think that having the suzanne mesh is a wonderful to learn blender. It's a ready model to experiment modelling tools during learning... But I'd like to have the GLUT teapot!

Regards.

Thank you joeri. I found only the official reference manual but since I'm a newbie (in Blender and in CG in general) I need a guide that explains things in a detailed manner, like the Blender manual do for Blender... Can you be more specific? Is it possible to download the official game kit in PDF s...

Thank you levon. I saw in some version of tuhopuu 2 (if I'm not wrong) some sort of "povray exporter" ... But I know that the povray licence do not allow native integration of this raytracer into another program... So what is it? I'm new to Blender so my questions are stupid, I know. I'm trying lear...

Tuhopuu 3

Where can I download it?
Does it mean developers are working on a future "Blender 3" release?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not informed about what NURBANA is.
Some link to read? I read that source code for Nurbana has been donated to Blender.
Where this source code is? Is someone working on this stuff?

Thank you.

Snog Image

Hi all.
Is the snog image (the one used to link blender3d.org on the right of the home page) available somewhere to download?

Thanks in advance.

I definately think this theme should be included with default install. And why not a couple more? (I'm assuming they take up such insignificant space) The average user isn't going to be fussed making their own theme from scratch. How about a place to download a couple from on the blender3d.org page...

It just has alot of warnings... Every now and again I fix some of them but as you noticed there are a lot to tackle. Some of them are also just because we have to support other compilers not just gcc, and because of the platform differences. I think some people are still compiling with 2.95 but mos...

Linux Blender and gcc version

Which version of GCC is "officially" supported by the blender developers on Linux? I have just successfully recompiled Blender 2.35 on a Linux machine using GCC 3.4.3 but the result appear to be very "dirty"... I obtain thousands of warnings. So I'm asking which is the best gcc release to compile bl...
