No, there's nothing wrong with your Blender. It says that you don't have installed Python.

Python is inteded for scripts but it's not needed if you're not going to work with.

About your UV problem, I can't help you, sorry

aoe2bug, there is no need for a beginning user to need to find the preferences The language is changed via the preferences, which is rather important, espcially for new users who don't have english as a first language. So, we're not going to find a chapt...

I submitted it as bug into the tracker and Ton said same as you.... But, I think there's no 'direct relationship' between 'clear all' in a 3D Window (suppose to clear the objects and related IN the scene) to delete too the User Preferences!. Where's the 'reset to default preferences' available to al...

IMPORTANT BUG!

Select a language and translate all items.

Then hit Ctrl+X in 3D Windows (delete all) and... suprise! Your user preferences are deleted too!.

(Related to 27-Nov-05 build, dunno in others)

BTW, I'll delete the folders and try again. Thanks amy_aimei, I'll post the results.

Thanks, amy_aimei. I've 'fixed' the cvtres.exe issue copying the 64bits version of the Platform SDK over there... (dunno why it's not there... no errors when installing and the environment variables were OK :? ) BUT, again.... a nice error  : LINK: fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '...

It seems i'll never be able to compile it with SCons. I always get this error (no matter what instructions passed to scons): makesdna.c cl /nologo /EHsc /J /W3 /Gd /MT /Og /Ot /Ob1 /Op /G6 /DWIN32 /D_CONSOLE /DWITH_Q UICKTIME /D_LIB /DUSE_OPENAL /DFTGL_LIBRARY_STATIC /DGAMEBLENDER=1 /DUSE_BULLET /DU...

20051119... ¿2MB of difference between py2.3 and py2.4?

It's strange.

Note: Your builds run faster than the 'native' (msvc7) ones in my machine:

P4 2.8 HT
ATI RADEON 9200 128DDR (latest drivers)
1,5 GB RAM
Windows XP SP2 (latest hotfixes)
HD IDE 7200

EDIT: I forgot! Great work!
