aww.. still the [ctrl] widget cycle? i much prefer the old g/r/s change... but, if this [ctrl] cycle is here to stay (please say it isn't...), could the [ctrl]-[tab] selection mode also change to cycle for consistency? although the widget icons are rather nice. WOW! COOL build i showed it to some of my friends in school who had shied away from Blender (due to its learning curve etc.) and thought that the widgets were cool and would make Blender much easier to use. i also think that there should be an extrude widget, say maybe assigned to the [e] hotkey whi...

(those dots are REALLY annoying) you can already do this select the faces that you want to "level" place the cursor along the plane that you want to align the vertices to make the cursor the center for scaling scale in the x/y/z direction, which ever works by pressin [s]->[x]or[y]or[z] Regards, ~Delta

i still dont see how this can work. if measurement is relative to what we see, we cant gauge how far we are moving the object (unless you're in perspective mode) even then, how will you be able to accurately distinguish if youve moved your object 0.5 blender units or 500 blender units? the color wheel instead of the brightness plane is a good idea, joeri. even though the color picker is a good idea and would be a great workflow addition, i dont find myself using it too much... however, with a better, and faster interface, such as adrian's idea of having the [diff] [spec] and [mir]...
