EWOCprojects: EdgeTune0.9

Released EdgeTune0.9:

- works from script-window now
- works fine with multiple views
- bugfixes (strange, I seem to be the only one noticing these bugs... )

By the way, both plugins work perfectly together with Tuhopuu3-builds.

Don't know about the old versions, but I just tested 0.83 with Tuhopuu3 and it works fine.

Glad my work is appreciated. The erronous "users.telenet.be" is removed from the code. Must have been a slip of the middlemousebutton (Linux paste) just before saving out the final version. Both plugins are updated to 0.82, because of some small changes. Also, there is now (sort of) visual feedback ...

EWOCprojects: EdgeSlide0.8 and EdgeTune0.8

Hello again! Hop over to the website for a new version of EgseSlide. Now with numerical input, non-proportional mode, bugfixes. Works correctly with triangles now. And of course the all new EdgeTune. Freehand slide and individual vertex slide-tweak for edge-paths and edgeloops. Try it, works g...

Figured it out myself. Do a Window.GetScreenInfo(Window.Types.VIEW3D) and get 'vertices' from it. Use these to get VIEW3D under mousepointer. Then do a Window.QHandle('id' from GetScreenInfo). This makes the view current (in fact it handles the views events).

I was referring to an error internal to the plugins workings, not a normal error. For example: if the selected path is not slideable -> nothing to do -> exit (from mid-program). Come to think of it, interesting idea, forcing an error to exit... Not very clean though and an error message pops up. Use...

Some undo functionality in the API would be very welcome. My EdgeSlide-plugin does realtime update of the slide and every time I update the mesh, Blender automatically updates the undo tree. But since this update happens a few hundred times, only a fraction of the operation can be undone (totally us...

Exiting in mid-program.

The simplest of questions. Still... I just need to know which call to use for exiting a script when an error pops up. I now do this by encapsulating the whole main program in a for loop which I then break from. Note: I tried the sys.exit() call but it seems to exit both the plugin AND Blender itself...

Suppose you have your workspace laid-out in four different views (top, side, front, perspective). You want your plugin to work in all of them, switching from one to the other during the same execution of your script. Normally Blender chooses the "current" 3Dview-window by checking which one the mous...

changing current 3d view

I want to mimic Blender's auto-windowfocus from within a script.
I need to get View- and PerspectiveMatrix of the focused window.
For this I need to be able to set the current 3D view.

Can this be accomplished in any way?

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I suppose so. First and for all, I am not using this test-build but built one from CVS myself at about the same date. I am currently developing an edgeslide-plugin in BPython ( http://www.blender.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB2&file=viewto...

EdgeSlide0.5

Hi to you all ! :D My first post. My first plugin. My first computer program in twelve years. ...whatever... Blender still lags behind in polygon mesh/ subD editing. Programs like eg. Silo have a much more comprehensive toolkit. But since Blender is open-source and free and has an excellent tool for...
