The Blender Python API has changed, there is indeed no Blender module anymore, nor any of the modules you try to import from it. See the new Blender Python API instead.

Also, in the text editor you can find script templates with examples of how to script in the new 2.5x series.

Mirrors on gitorious

I created in April, 2010 http://gitorious.org/blenderprojects to host mirrors. I noticed that for some reason bf-extensions is not updating properly, the others are updated very frequently (ie. blender repository every 5 minutes, fullblender IIRC as well).

The proper fix is to get a video card with driver combination that does support GLSL.

I'm not 100%, but I think the collada branch might be able to do it. For windows you can find a build at the end of this page: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Chingachgook/Gsoc2009/End-User_Specification The work of this branch is being made ready to be merged with current trunk (Blender 2.5 ...

GHOST is in the same cast as GLUT and SDL, it should be regarded as the same. You might be able to write a SDL/GLUT section for GHOST though, but it would be better to do it right on top of your OS. GHOST is the thing that needs to be adapted to platforms where necessary - it's the lowest level we u...

Just unpack the .zip somewhere and start the blender.exe program. You'll may have to install the C++ redistributable files that are linked on the download page in the note: box under the 64bit download of Blender. (If you get "Application failed to initialize..." or something similar).

Heh, Blender axis configuration is exactly according maths: Take a piece of paper, draw your x-axis and y-axis. Put it on the ground. z-axis will now go up from your paper. This is what you'll see in top view. This is also how I learned xyz in school math. That z and y are 'flat' on the paper when u...

I think you're missing the bigger picture here. Ok, instead of MorphOS, you do it for AmigaOS -> GHOST_DisplayManagerAmiga.cpp/h. GHOST *is* already intended for abstracting away platform-specific things for the upper layers. GHOST is our GLUT/SDL whatever. GHOST stands for Generic Handy Operating S...

Ok, so in your case you want to create an implementation of GHOST for MorphOS, just like there are implementations for X11, Win32, Carbon and Cocoa. If you look at https://svn.blender.org/svnroot/bf-blender/trunk/blender/intern/ghost/intern/ you can see the different groups of files. In your case yo...

You can use IDProps to attach your own, very long names to objects, and write some spacehandlers to show those names in the 3dview.

Bug reports should be reported at our bug tracker: https://projects.blender.org/tracker/?atid=125&group_id=9&func=browse The info from the report in launchpad looks pretty complete. Also a step-by-step description of how to trigger the bug should be attached, and always for the simplest possible sce...

As a late diagnoses, your original problem was a conflict in the file that failed to compile. The <<<< .mine and similar lines give that away. Always, when you do a svn up when you have local changes, check the output from the update to see if there are any conflicting files. svn status should be ab...
