What about Dynamic support
in the rendering part of blender ? what about mass, collision, etc ? Is there someone which implementing ODE (the open dynamic engine library) ?
who, what when ?
Pleaaasseee tell me !
A waiting blender user .

From the 2.26 release announcement
The NaN code, as was released for the first time last october, still needs a lot of work to get it fully functional again, especially because of the missing libraries (collision and audio), which makes the game engine not functional in this release. Efforts to replace the physics and collision system with ODE are in a very early stage, and will need more developers to work on.
If you're really wanting to know what's going on now, you're going to have to trawl through the CVS
. Or download the latest source and build it yourself... (=

the ODE implementation will be replacing the physics system in blender's game engine, not for the "rendering part" as you said. someone may implent it in the future but for now, dynamica is the best bet but it has been put on perminate hold from what I've heard.

Hey, ok i`really not a programmer, but is it very hard to put the "Dynamica" plugin into the permanent code of Blender? (of cause if dynamica allows it)
it is so great, having it onboard would push blender really more forward to the top of even the comercial 3d-programms! it is hard to wait for a new plugin working on 2.6,if you once worked on 2.23 with dynamica.
Hope for a actuall version, easier to install- or for this cool partical System implemented in Blender.
