Whoa whoa whoa, let's just untangle this situation before it gets more confused!

If I understand ementos correctly, he/she would like to place a link to www.blender.org on his/her own website.

Unfortunately, joeri misunderstood slightly.... :D

But yes, ementos, you can of course link to blender.org. There used to be some specific linking pictures - can anyone find them any more?
