Alt-M, minor bug

Post by Devas73 »

Hello,
using alt-M on a mesh and then pressing u to undo the operation will make the mesh disappear into void.

Strange: doing it with a cube (selecting two near vertex) and alt-M, then U the mesh disappear - doing it with a plane works...

make sure you have exited, and then entered editmode after you create it. If you create an object, and hit U without exiting and then entering editmode at least once, the object will dissappear no matter what you did while in edit mode.

I think the object state is "saved" only when you enter editmode, and loaded when you hit U. unfortunately, if you have not entered editmode, there is no saved state, and thus, nothing to load.

It works! If I create a cube, exit edit mode, reenter edit mode and do alt-M and u, the problem no more arises.
