Blender for Windows 7 64 Bit???
I just got my new PC and am getting ready to install Windows 7. I want to install the 64 bit version, but it looks like Blender will not be supported. Any idea as to whether a 64-bit version for Windows is available?
Yes there is a 64 bit and it works fine!
I am running the 64 bit version in my Windows 7 64bit, no problems even though there is no installer, just unzip it to a folder and start it from there or drag a shortcut to where ever You want it. Just remember to get the 64 bit version of Python 2.6.x installed properly.

Hi Jari,
I tried what you said should work, but when I try to run Blender I get this message:
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.
Python 64 bit installed successfully.
