new OSX version!
Hi,
Since its release, the OSX version had a problem with vertex-paint and face-selection. The backbuffer is being used for selection code drawing, which keeps getting swapped at OSX... it seems to originate in the fact that Apple doesn't support frontbuffer drawing (for menus etc).
I've made version which uses the 'Aux' buffer option in opengl, drawing the selection codes in an off-screen buffer.

Grab a version here for test... want to get feedback if all OSX h/w versions work smooth with it. Thanks!

Thanks for the report, but be aware that useful bug reporting comes down to:Money_YaY! wrote: But now as I try to uv map an image to it poof crash !
Crash while going through the file select window try to get any images.
- exact instructions how to redo
- verifying with an older blender release if it happens too
I interpret your report as a bug in the ImageSelect window. Use the small grey button next to the salmon-colored "Load" button to get a normal FileSelect window.

very nice!
Works nicely on 10.2.6 on Powerbook 17". This powerbook has fink and the openAL libraries installed for tuhopuu.
Seems a little faster too, but I will test this weekend on my ibook at home.
jess.

YES! This works good for me using 10.2.6. Awesome to see things moving. Many, many thanks.

ibook - test
That makes sense now. I was really busy this last weekend, and didn't get to do much testing at home (I commute about 300 miles and live in a camper during the week).
This version was unusable, but that was due to the color depth settings. I won't be able to test this machine again till this weekend.
