Any Google Chrome / Chromium OS discussion?

Post by Lorca » Thu Nov 25, 2010 5:06 pm

http://www.chromium.org/chromium-os

Is there any discussion going on here, could you provide me some links on the subject? Blender + Google Chrome OS?

I know that this system is based on people that spend most of their time on the internet.

But It would be nice to hear your opinions about this new emerging OS and the Blender community environment. What this kind of system means for the undergoing development of Blender 3d?

Your thoughts please!

Thank you for your time,

Ortiz

it should be possible to port blender to google native client. could be quite a bit of effort though (allows opengl ES only,...) and i am not sure if it would be worth it.

but it still is a bit early anyway... there still is a lot of time to see how all of this google stuff will turn out. :)
