North America: Blender Conference 2003???

Post by SirDude » Tue Sep 02, 2003 5:35 pm

If there are say at least 10 people that would show up,
I could be talked into holding a parallel conference here,
at the University of Minnesota. I can get free access to
a computer lab.

Anyone interested feel free to email me?

If you would like to attend and or present let me know.

I think there will still be a meeting in Montreal as well. So we can all get hooked up.

It will be easier for me to go to Montreal, though Minnesota would be a nice trip.

Good luck to you and hope to see you all on the webcam!!

Luckily still 8 weeks to go!
Next week I want to have a couple of pages at the site with more info, I think of spamming then our newsletter subscribers too.

For local initiatives I then can do some advertisement as well. Just bother me with info, I'll put it at the site!

Decisions, decisions. Now I have to figure out how to be in two places at the same time.

Soooo... is this gonna happen? If so, which location (I seem to recall both Minnesota and Montreal being discussed)? I'm going to see some blender folks in October, I just want to know if I'll be driving or flying.

There'll definitly be a meeting in Montreal, most probably on saturday. I'm still looking for a local (we can't have the same as last year), but it's gonna happen.

No one's contacted me saying they want one in Minnesota.

Next week - when the site has a couple of pages about the conference - I will make more publicity. Send out spam and stuff.
You might wait until october 10-15 or so with a final confirmation of a parallel session.
