hi there,
you have to name the darwin directory 6.0 because you are on OSX 10.2 without the update. I am doing development on a machine with the update (bring the darwin kernel up to 6.1) and the make system detects your system. You can also make a symbolic link to darwin 6.1.

Hello,

Tried to run blender-publisher-2.25-mac-osx-10.1 on OS X 10.2.2 aka the current update of Jaguar to find it's unworkable slow indeed [500 Mhz G4 PowerBook, 768MB]. So I read more of the site and found this thread.

I wondered.. if there's a succesfull build for 10.2, why not put it online for download?

Btw I'm not capable to build it myself, else I would have tried. I do volunteer to do other usefull things for the X version.

Check the post in this forum on desaster's build. It works great under 10.22.

Also, make sure your screen is in thousands of colors instead of millions. Blender is currently unusable on Macs under 32bit color, but runs quite happily at 16bit.

OK — I'm switching to the other conversation about X, like the rest!

Well SORRY, but it doesn't run and if you're not a *NIX geed, like me, you can't make heads nor tails from the instructions.

Okay first please reply in my other thread from here on out.
There are to many threads to follow and that one is fresh and small.

Ok first install the OpenAL SDK not the other one.
When you install the first file it will drop another one on the desktop.
You must go into that and install the package file from their.

Tell me if that goes.
