SuperHi Poly in Blender with OpenSubdiv

Hello everyone my name is Andre and I am new to blender community. I came across this awesome open source tool that Pixar uses internally for animated film production. I thought it would be cool if someone try to implement it into blenders pipeline. I am no hardcore programmer so I figure someone here would know how to implement it in blender.
What it does is it allows you to subdivide your polygons almost unlimited number of time and I believe it uses your gpu to subdivide.
