Mr. Rob: "Its all kino's fault!!!"
LOL!
Is it really that similar to the Star Wars type? If it is we can change it.
I currently have several design document like docs, they will soon be available publically.
Also, I have a tendency to get ideas at midnight so I usually write them cryptically in my notebook. I'll decipher some of the ideas soon and write them up.
Of course we'll start with simple interaction. Actually the first type tests will be simple moving around! Then ones like follow, and flee from and other rudementary AI states.

Look at OpenSteer for a lib that handles several types of path-finding. (http://www.red3d.com/cwr/steer/ for the documentation).
The applets are actually very interesting

This looks so damn interesting and exciting, I am not a programmer or python coder, but if there is a way I can help let me know, this would be an awesome tool for Blender.

Hell Ya ! Heavens Yes ! I am glad I found out about it from your site I am now using it post hastemr_rob wrote:Kino did a great job on the site. PHPX is a nice content management system, isn't it?

Cheers to Kino ! Now we just need a beta for your program to go along with the site

I'm working on an alpha version, hopefully we can get it finished inside this week.
We've decided to use Python and make ARLS inside Blender. Doing so has a great number of advantages. This way we already have a window and GL subsystem as well as the great mesh and object code.
So all you Python programmers out there, please help!
I think I should post something in the Python forum too.
