can anyone tell me correctly the origin of the Blender logo. Who designed it, and what it represents?

AFAIK, it's a stylish eye with eyelashes. It used to be more visible with the old logo.

really? i could of sworn it was a wirlpool, like in a eletric blender... the arms are the ideas being sucked into the wirlpool... and becoming part of the whole

well... i guess it could be an eye too

I have seen a similar symbol (more like the old one) on tv. It was an Asian channel I think I will look for it and see if I can post it here. I think I was watching Dragon Ball hehe

HAHA here it is
