Why not have SIGGRAPH twice a year..

Then we would get two major revisions of blender a year.
However I guess the conference would become less significant..

True.. Maybe having it twice a year could make it more significant,
particularly if there were more major releases of blender..

I doubt it's Blender releases that make SIGGRAPH significant or not. :?

Siggraph is hardly influenced by Blender.
Siggraph will happen with or without Blender.. and has for many many years. I'm glad to see Blender growing and hopefully eventually it will have its own booth again as it did several years back before it was OpenSource.
Have fun those of you going to siggraph! I still can't get the time to go! Hopefully next year!
