build pub?
is there a place where people can download modified builds?
a sort of build pub?
if not.... maybe it's a idea to set one up?

i mean, is there a place where people can put their "homebrew" executables on the net.... for us to play with?
i wonder isf there already is someone who figured out why the renderer is slower in 2.25?, did someone already build a version without the gameangine? or with cool new features? how about dynamics...
i wonder (for example) what kind of modifications already have been made inside the source(and is it working?) It is absolutly not clear to me what people are doing with the blendersource... ... there was that much buzz going on and now it looks like there is total silence... please enlighten me

Here's an unofficial version with some fun new features a few of us
have been working on (hosted on desaster's cvs tree):
http://bebop.cns.ualberta.ca/~cwant/ble ... -11.tar.gz
Sorry -- we've only been successful in making a Linux build so far
(we recently recruited a Windows user so hopefully there will
be a windows build in the not too distant future).
Here are the new features:
http://nyarlathotep.dragonlight.fi/cgi- ... cvs-markup
Source is available there too if you click around for it (be careful though
... slow server).
Let us know if there are any bugs.

unoffical release dependancies
Hi Chris,
Are there any additional dependancies required for the above (extra to NAN's Publisher )?
I'm running mandrake 9 - NAN's works Ok, yours doesn't.
Your work to extend Blender is much appreciated.
All the best.
Adrian

I have a faily recent version of glibc (2.3.1) that
I think is probably causing the problem (other
mandrake users have mentioned this prob).
I'll see if somebody with an earlier version can
do a compile.

Chris
Windows compiling
Well, is there a little tutorial for setting up the code on win32 and compiling using VisualC? or maybe MingW combined with BloodshedC++?
