3D display window issues

Post by xtetra » Sat Oct 01, 2005 7:37 am

I'm using blender 2.37 - still getting used to Blender in general so maybe I'm doing something wrong but I've found that the textured shading option in the 3D window displays objects as the default grey even with a texture applied.

Also the shaded display shows objects with textures only they are blurred.

Textures all look fine when I actually go to render.

I'm using a GeForce 5700 and I just updated the driver but the trouble persists.

Is this a bug with v2.37 or is there some Open GL setting or something I'm missing somewhere?

Running on 3Ghz AMD w/1 gig ram and Windows XP sp2

ztony - sorry, version 2.37a

simonharvey - I'll find somewhere to post a screenshot for you. If you happen to be a member of renderosity you can view it in the Blender forum there.

Thanks both for your replies![/img]

procedural textures [clouds, marble, et. cetera] dont' show up in textured mode, only textures [images] assigned in face select mode by uv mapping will show up
