*Note*

pressing ALT-M (in lack of a handier hotkey) in editmode will MERGE vertices together. it's just like snapping and then removing doubles just a bit faster :)

also, as a result of this there's a new snapping method in the SHIFT-S menu: Sel -> Center

(sorry, as a newbie coder I'm kinda proud of this :) )

phase,
This really is Fun! - Excellent additons, I love the display of the selected object name in the lower left of the window. The file format additions are cool. I noticed you have the beginnings of sound support in the sequence editor. What is the status of this? I can not get any actual sound, though it is useful to view the length of the track. It's a great start.
Many Thanks!

Yay! I've been hanging out for this feature!
/me looks forward to what you can do when you're not a 'newbie' any more :)

Yeah, that's very cool, phase ... I don't suppose I could talk you into adding the
frame number there too? (Since you know where in the code it is and all.)
I always find it's a drag always having to have a buttons window exposed
just to find out what frame number you're on (and as if that wasn't bad enough.
you have to have the whole width of the window exposed because the frame
number is on the right side of the header).

Regards,
Chris

PS: the mousewheel isn't working in the file select windows anymore, but it is
working in all the other ones.

Thanks for the kind responses, but i have to set something straight !
I didn't add the sound strips in the Sequence editor. All credits for this
go to sgefant, one of the main developers of the Tuhopuu tree.

All additions made to the Blender sourcecode, as they were commited
to the experimental Tuhopuu tree, got automatically included in the latest
release of Funblender.

Please check the complete list of features, and find out about their
respective coders here:
http://projects.blender.org/viewcvs/vie ... ot=tuhopuu
My apologies for not mentioning this earlier.

To Hos; to get the mousewheel scrolling in text and fileselect windows
you need to set the number of lines that get scrolled in the preference
buttons. Oh, and about adding the framenumber to the 3d window,
this can be done of course :) Maybe i should add another preference
button for printing info in the 3d window ?

Thanks for the clarification on the credits. To all contributors, great work!
Now that I have list, it is time to play with all these new features.

:D
FUNBlender is too cool.
chapeau guys!

:!: Please, I'm begging you, can you
gurus of the inner code make
a button that turns off vertices that
are facing away from the camera???
Maybe have a button that turns them
off completely too???

 If you could get python scripts like YABLE
& OBJIO to work in it too, man you guys
would be amazing!

 Oh, FACE select outside of UV face mode
would be cool and add so much to the feel
of FUNBlender.

rock on!

Hi Rob! great stuff you guys have got going on, some major things bothers me though:
1. VRML2 Import is broken, blender just crashes
2. The new "ALT-M" shortcut does´nt work.

Any ideas? I´m running Blender on Windows2k, all other Blender versions work well( import VRML).

Cheers

Funblender is now a spinoff from the tuhopuu tree. Many thanks to sgefant, Hos and desaster.
There's no physics (yet).

Enjoy,

Rob
