Two things (one bad, one good).

I have found that trying to load plugins under BlenderPublisher 2.25 results in the following error:
var1: \Blender\plugins\texture\afterglow.dll, var2: \Blender\plugins\texture\afterglow.dll, var3: The parameter is incorrect.

(I have tried this with many plugins and BlenderCreator 2.23 works fine here.)

I have heard about a 2.25b version that fixes this problem, is this true?

I really like Povanim a POV export script from:
http://jmsoler.free.fr/util/blenderfile/povanim.htm

I would sure appreciate if someone would write a short tutorial on how to properly use it.

Thanks!

Go over to http://www.povray.org and grab the excellent Povray-Documentation. If you know and understand Povray you will completely understand the script.

Thanks! The most difficult part (for me) of getting Povanim to work properly is setting up the materials correctly for POV to render. After reading the docs and tinkering with the settings I am starting to get some fairly decent results.

Someday I personally would like to see a raytracer built into Blender, but there are a lot of questions as how to set it all up (and a lot of raytracing engines available). I also think there should always be the option to continue to use the original Blender renderer.

Hi,
material export is widely better in the last new povanim versions for Blender 2.23/2.25/2.26.There is some examples and tests here:
jms wip directory in the zoo-logique.org/3D.Blender gallery
Zoo-3D.Blender, Ze French-Speaking Community SKB My french book about Blender.
