VEE particle simulator.

I found good particle simulator http://www.tml.tkk.fi/~tilmonen/vee/effects.html. It might be helpfull in writing blender's particles.
And might be developers will think about hardware particle rendering like in Maya.
Just look trough image gallery and feature list.

Yes VEE can produce some fantastic images and animations

It might make a good Google Summer of Code project?

the particles are getting a re write soon, http://mediawiki.blender.org/index.php/ ... es_Rewrite
maybe Jahka might like to know about vee, so try posting a comment to the wiki about it.

You are plan to add to Blender VEE's features like:
:arrow: Includes surface drag and -flow dynamics
:arrow: Python programmable behaviour
:arrow: Very fast simulation
