New version 0.11:

- new GUI
- create a small ASCII file
- parameters dither and quantize
- add new file format SGI, BMP, PCX and DDS
- select the compression algorithm for TIFF and OpenEXR
- add new data types "RGB + Z" and "RGBA + Z", creation of separate files for colors, and Z channel
- support for DoF (Depth of Field)
- animation support
- partial support for texture and UV mapping
- file name for MS-Windows (no testing)
- use psyco if available

- it is possible to assign materials to Gelato shaders
- set the name and scaling of the units
- debugging shaders: shownormals, showfacing, showst, showuv, showdudv, showgrids, raygoggles
- preview value
- multi pass render beauty and/or shadow and/or ambient occlusion
- support for border render

to have NVIDIA.. and I don't have NVIDIA, I have Intel as my graphics driver. I would have wanted to try this otherwise.

Sad, though. It looks like it's an awesome tool.

  • - Bug fix
    - Blender 2.43 and Python 2.4 or above is required
    - Sets the size x and y of the screen buckets
    - Enable and set the file to write the error log
    - Split out objects into separate files
    - Image file output section name.NNN.ext or name.ext.NNN, where NNN is frame number
    - Support for SubSurface Scattering. First step enable bake diffuse from mesh's property and enable SSS pass. Second beauty pass to use shader that also incorporates SSS, for example plasticss.
