General discussion about the development of the open source Blender

Hey guys. I'm using Blender to develop objects for a game that I am working on. Unfortunately, the engine I use will only import static objects from Blender, ie no animations, no skeletons, no vertex painting, etc etc. Would it be too much to ask for you guys to make a proper .fbx exporter so that people like me can use the great, free Blender system to work on characters and deformable meshes in our games?
