.fbx exporter!

Post by elias723 » Sat Jun 17, 2006 5:52 am

Hey guys. I'm using Blender to develop objects for a game that I am working on. Unfortunately, the engine I use will only import static objects from Blender, ie no animations, no skeletons, no vertex painting, etc etc. Would it be too much to ask for you guys to make a proper .fbx exporter so that people like me can use the great, free Blender system to work on characters and deformable meshes in our games?

fbx isn't compatible with the gpl. there are no format specifications but it just is a closed sdk. better use collada instead! :)
