No announcement for the new forum design

there's no news on the main page of blender.org to advertise the new design.

will the left column with all the links be restored.
i'm in this forum and can't anymore jump to projects.blender or the bug tracker.

Yeah we needed to upgrade to the latest version of phpbb. We've now also got some form of spam prevention (registering has been made a bit more difficult for bots, through a captcha).

Because in the future I want to update as soon as a new phpbb version is released I want to keep the changes to the template as minimal as possible. So we've only put the custom top header in place.

I've added a link to the projects website in the header now though.
