It just zooms right where the cursor is and not in need of the 3d cursor postion. Much faster and fluid

That would be great as an option. Not sure if the zoom should be animated though?

... MM but Zoom is already animated. use a combo of alt and control I think, it scales the screen smoothly

Hi,

I don't believe there are any public builds, I know a couple of people have built the patch but I don't think anyone has uploaded it.

Which OS do you use? If it's Windows I may be able to send you a build.

A Windows XP or Suse Linux 10.0 build would be most appreciated.

You can mail it to

thank you

The Zoom can animate if you use the camera window, if you are in the camera window and you use shift+f then it will follow the mouse, then you can press (+) to move forward, the problem with it though is that if you want to slow down you just have to press space to stop and start over.
