Hi, I don't know how to get a darker shadow? I am using Ambient Occlusion in 2.5
Above is a link to another thread.Below is a link to the image. I am doing this in Blender 2.5. Can someone please tell me how to get the cube to cast a darker shadow? Here's an image of the render. Thanks

up the energy of the AO and select Both under Influence.

Also add a spot or hemi lamp to generate additional shadows

Thanks psullie. I made some changes and its a little better (see links) I didn't select "Both" because I didn't like the look it gave and I increased the AO energy to 2.000. Increasing it any further caused weird shadow effects (not realistic).

I still can't get the shadow to be really dark. Is this because I am using AO? How can I get darker shadows like inreal life? Thanks
