How can i add multible textures to a model?

Post by willitblend » Mon Oct 24, 2011 12:06 am

Hi there three or more diementional artists.

i am trying to model a mango in blender, which turns into a flower by time. this was easy , as i used a shapekey, my problem is that i need it to have different texture, for when it is a mango and when it is a flower. i need the texture to change gradually. I cant make it work.

Do you guys or girls have any idea how i can do this.

also... how do i make the object make a shadow?

thanks. 8) 8) 8)

i think the new feature dynamic painting will help you with your problem.

objects don't make shadows but lights do  , so add light(s)

Hi guys. I fight with the same problem. I took a picture of a serenata flower and it drives me crazy that I have a problem with rendering it into a human face! It looks weird without the right texture and I tried some different ways to solve it, but I failed :( Can anyone help me please? This would be great!

Two textures stacked in one material, Color property keyframed:

I'm sitting, waiting, wishing, building Blender in superstition...

How about having multiple identically-shaped objects coincident in space, with different alpha transparencies animated over time, so you fade from one into the next?
