Problems Rendering an logo

Post by jmc5105 »

Hey everyone,

This is my first post here and my first couple days working in Blender. This program is awesome! However, I am running into a problem when trying to render a WSU Coug head logo. The problem is with the color. I have applied a crimson color through the diffuse option in the materials property panel. While in the editing screens everything looks amazing. When I render the logo it doesn't retain its crimson color, instead it changes to white/silver. I am sure that the fix is very easy but I have spend a few hours trying to figure this out and haven't found a fix. Help would be much appreciated!

Could be the lighting. Since you mention "diffuse" as color, I am not sure if you're using Cycles render or Blender redner. Try a sun or hemi, and aim toward the object. You can also increase the strength of the lamp. For start, try 4.00.
