How do I to make an emission surface shaded?
Hey, I just wanted to know how to make my molten glass glow using cycles, but remain shaded? Currently it looks like this:

Possibly Compositing
I'll check into it, but I really believe you may be able to duplicate the Scene, then have one version with the emission material and the other without the emission material. Then, go into the Compositor and mix the Renderlayers from both scenes. Check out the Tutorial for Rendering a Sports Car on CG Cookie.

I like the Creating Realistic Materials tutorial from BlenderGuru as well.

But I believe the first tutorial goes more in depth. Between the two I think it will tell you what you need to know about Compositing and Materials settings.
Good luck and let me know if this helps!
