Changing rendering engine independent?

Hello! I'm pretty new to blender so i'll need some help with the different rendering engines.

I'm going to make a car game and i decided to use this tutorial to make the car paint: but i have a problem. In this tutorial he uses the "cycles render" option but i'll need to use the blender game render option to make the car driveable and the game playable. How can i use the car paint and still make it in to a game?

Unfortunately, cycles uses a completely different shading system
because it is not a real-time opengl renderer. Its a path tracer.
You can not use a cycles shader in the game engine and I don't
know if there are any ways to convert a cycles node tree to use
in the game engine.
