Here are some truly awesome shaders, havent seen anything quite like them before
.
It would be interesting to see if somthing like this could be implimented in blender.

A few of those have already been done in Blender by others. I have seen examples of them at elysiun. Not to say that they were actual shaders, but they faked them anyway.

A couple of those you can do with the new Veroni textures.

These would be some nice additions to the standard code though.

Ooh, some of those shaders would be cool to have as built in Blender.

One would think, that many would find good usage for that furry shader or those non photoreal shaders.

I guess that most of the pictures do rather show the results of postprocessing-filters (as the toon edges in blender are too) than the results of shaders.

The funky thing I liked most was the fury grain that actually follows the shape of the object.
This is somthing that post processing cant do (unless it has zbuffer data??)

Some could be faked with added geometry, but would probably take a lot longer to render then a shader designed for the task.

hmmmmm.....

Blender build in post processing would be nice..

It would be nice if there were Pluginable shaders that could be coded in C, imagine if they were as powerfull as rendermans!
