Ambient Occlusion BUG

Post by lox_federico » Fri Feb 10, 2006 3:01 am

In current CVS, setting a plane with a green material (no nodes) with a narrow spot light above and activating Ambient Occlusion results in the lit part showing the material color and in the AO lit part showing a light gray color.

An example is here:

Hi lox_federico,

I have the same problem with every kind of light. Everything in sunlight is rendering ok, everything with only AO lighting is grey. I've tried nearly everything, the problem does seem to lie with AO.

Textures also don't show up with AO.

I've solved this problem by setting AO to Subtract only and using one or teo additional Hemi lights.

I've noticed this too, and posted it in the bugtracker.
