Game Development

Post by irnyad » Tue Feb 20, 2007 10:07 am

Hi. I have been peaking at blender for many months now. But I only just recently got on the forums. Anyway, I was wondering if blender, with the use of python scripting is capable of allowing me to create any commercial quality games? Is it fast enough? Are the graphics good enough?
Is the realtime 3d engine at a proper stage of development that this may be possible?

I have looked at the art, great stuff. But is it this good in realtime?

Please can you answer my questions with long answers.
I love long answers.

Sorry, short answer!
Blender it's an old, slow engine!
But, probably, it's much "better" than you can handle, at least for some
months...
Sorry, if I "sound" a bit rude.
Here you can have better support:

No offense taken. I have used blender since 2.41
So I have had it for about 8 months.
But I just haven't been able to get my graphics to go into my
exe files when I save dynamic runtime.

Anyway, thanks for the link
